I had the honor of taking some Pre-Prom pics for an incredible group of students this past Friday. As a photographer it’s always great to do these; as a teacher it’s always rewarding to see a group of (mostly) Seniors dressed to the nines and enjoying their last Prom. Beautiful weather certainly doesn’t hurt, either!
To say that I was honored to take part in these photos would be a total understatement. Having been friends with the family for some time made this incredibly important to me – and I couldn’t be happier for these young ladies!
I’ve been asked where my favorite spots were on the trip, and that’s very difficult to answer. Everything – and I really do mean everything – was just awesome to see. I thought there would be more hiccups on the trip, and that really never happened (thankfully!). To close out these posts, I’m going to post my favorite images from the spots I visited – and trust me, this was really hard to do – but the process of going through all of the photos (almost 6,000 of them) has been a blast because it’s really allowed me to relive everything.
I’m not sure exactly how many posts this is going to take, because I’m limited on post length, but I’ll post them in order of the trip over the course of a couple blog entries.

So much fun this morning with these two at the South Park Ice Rink! I had an absolute blast and can’t thank the Rink workers enough for really going out of their way to accommodate us. This young lady was so fun and worked so hard to skate – there’s no doubt she’s better than I am! Too cute!
I really got to see this young lady open up as our time together went on, but she really lit up and showed her personality when I showed her some photos then let her take a few. This budding photographer got such a kick out of taking pics of her mom!
Baby Isabella is here(!) – and what better chance to get everyone together for some family portraits? Once again, I had the opportunity to work with the Siegels and that’s always a blast. Honestly, I wish that you could see these guys in action – so much fun!
