There is truly something special about a wedding. I have truly had an incredible time working on these photographs — I’ve found myself smiling continuously, as the happiness shown in this day and these photographs is just contagious…

These guys had every reason to fret — what, 4 inches of snow overnight got you worried? – but I’ve never had the pleasure of working with a group that is so calm! What an absolutely beautiful day we ended up having — everything just fell together perfectly. A trolley? Check. Heinz Chapel? Check. Mellon Institute Steps? Check. Cathedral of Learning? Check. The Petersen Events Center? Check. University Club for the Reception? Check. (Are you getting the sense that we’ve got some DIE-HARD Pitt Fans here???) All kidding around aside, I had a blast working with Kristin and Ryan — congrats!

2012 Year in Review

This is a post that I truly look forward to every year – mainly because I get the pleasure of sifting through my year’s worth of photographs and in the process relive each and every event. I have been just unbelievably fortunate to collaborate with some incredible people — that’s something that’s never lost on me. Whether it be a wedding, senior portraits, newborns, engagements or sports, it’s always something fun and I am just so thankful for each and every opportunity. Take a look through, there’s a lot to digest! Here’s to a great 2012 and an even better 2013!

What a beautiful day it turned out to be (even though the weathermen called for showers all day long!) Leslie and Matt celebrated their wedding at Greendance Winery in Mt. Pleasant (also the home of Sand Hill Berries) and the backdrop was simply beautiful for these two. Everything came together perfectly and it was genuinely beautiful to see the happiness radiate from these two…
