Timmy’s Race for Children’s…

I had the chance to take some photos at yesterday’s Third Annual Timmy’s Race for Children. It was a beautiful morning and more runners and walkers took part than ever before. The race was established by the Creamer family to give back to Children’s Hospital after their son, Timmy, spent time there while battling a form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. What a great cause and a great event…

Southwest Greensburg Adaptive Baseball

I had the opportunity to spend some time today taking photos of the athletes taking part in Southwest Greensburg’s Adaptive Baseball League. This league, which is in its 17th year, is one of the oldest of its kind in Western Pennsylvania. Many other leagues have sprouted up in the area as a result of the success found in this league, providing hundreds of exceptional athletes the opportunity to show off their skills on the diamond. It was also great to see the buddies who volunteer their time to help out. Do yourself a favor and get to a game – you won’t regret one minute of the time you spend doing this!

Boating in Pittsburgh…

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with bridges – not exactly sure why that is, it just is. I had the opportunity to go boating on each of the three rivers for the first time last night and had a blast. I’m not really sure what it is about being on the boat, but it’s just incredibly relaxing to me – absolutely love it – and the views of Pittsburgh – and the bridges – from the boat are absolutely amazing.

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Siegel – because once just isn’t enough!

When Jen and I met to deliver her proofs, she mentioned that her parents had some incredible land that would make for some tremendous backdrops and wanted to know if I’d be interested in getting together again for some more shots. Um, yeah, that was a no-brainer! I knew the instant we turned off Rt. 31 and I saw the views that we were in for another great day. I can’t speak highly enough of either Jen or Mark – or Mr. and Mrs. Lori for that matter. These guys have seriously been just flat out awesome to work with!
