OBX lighthouses…

Those who know me know that I’m nuts over bridges – and you might also know that I love lighthouses. One of the things that I was really looking forward to on my recent trip to the OBX was the opportunity to check some out again (it’s been over 10 years since I was last there…) Unfortunately, Bodie Island’s Lighthouse is currently under construction and completely wrapped in scaffolding, but I did get to check out Cape Hatteras (man, that was a heck of a climb in 102 degree heat!) as well as Corolla Light.

The Criders in the OBX…

Recently I had the opportunity to get some much needed R&R time in Kill Devil Hills with the Criders – and let me tell you this, that is always an adventure! We had a great week and I really got to spend some more time with Luke than I really have before – his looks are just priceless. And Jack, too, of course!
